In 1986, Memories Photographic Establishment cc started its operations. On 1 April 1988 the new and present owners bought and commenced the new Memories Old Time Photographic Studio.
It was a humble beginning with one studio and a darkroom lab. All photo's were taken on “4 x 5” double sided negatives, tank developed, washed and dried. Printing commenced by enlarging to the requested
size and then processed in an Illford processor. Then followed the bleaching fixing and drying of the photo's.

This process took approximately 40 min. Most of the photo's were posted to the customers. We continued with this procedure for 10 years. Memories joined the digital age in 1998. We bought a Fiber Optical Paper Processor and our first 2 million mega pixel digital cameras (of which some are still in operation)
With this technology we reduced our photo delivery speed to less than ten minutes. Our customers now collects the photo's. At present we have three them Studios and a Family Portrait Studio.

We have recently expanded our printing facility by purchasing a Large Format high quality photographic inkjet printer. (the quality of the ink is guaranteed for 200 years). With this printer we specialize in canvas, banner and backlight printing. We value our small permanent staff of which two started with us 15 years ago. We value our customer. Our slogan “love thy customer” has challenged us to give our best to satisfy our customers. We continually strive to become better.

We have portrait photographs taken in our studio's that have homes all over the world.

We have won an international prize for our portrait photography in the USA, which we are proud of.

We have Dealerships with Phototechnik Minolta, Samsung, Kodak, Canon, Singer, Photographic and Agfa.
